This Amazon was released as a version 5.5 update to Amazon Warrior with a new paint deco to satisfy demand after the original deco sold through on BossFightShop.com. The base figure and accessory compliment is the same, except for a few key differences:

Black Armor, skirt and altered accessory trim
Different colored tattoos
Different colored package art
Chest armor is the actual Amazon Chest Armor, not the Gorgon Chest Armor
Shield hand grip is the new larger style, able to accommodate larger hands

Character Bio

Historical Documentation:
The Amazons were a society of warrior women in the central Eurasia region. The all-woman nation were warriors and artisans. Training for war from a young age, they were experts with swords, bows, spears, knives, and various forms of hand-to-hand combat. These legendary women worshipped Ares, the God of War, and participated in many legendary battles in his name, including the Trogan and Gorgon Wars.

Temporal Log:
The Amazons were the equals of the Spartans in combat and there was no better army to assist the Greek city-states in the Gorgon War. Ares himself took an interest in the outcome of the war as the Gorgons were waging war on mankind and God alike. Wherever there was war, Ares was close by. Ares' uncles, Poseidon and Hades and his sister Athena were already involved and it didn't take long for Ares to throw his sword into the forge and send the Amazons.
