Character Bio
Historical Documentation:
The Anakritis Gorgons are the interrogators and enforcers of the Gorgon ranks. Using a combination of body movements, their metallic weapons, and their glowing yellow eyes, an Anakritis can hypnotize even the strongest willed. They use their mesmerizing dance to break their captives and extract information. They then pass their learnings to the Gorgon Sisters for them to use in their war against humanity and the Gods. An Anakritis will also turn to more traditional tortures to get what they want. Inventive and brutal, this way rarely leaves a prisoner alive and with any secrets left to keep. The information they obtained was invaluable to the Gorgon war effort. On more than one occasion, the main army arrived to find a cities' gates wide open due to their espionage efforts.
Temporal Log:
The Gorgons had vast information networks in order to stay ahead of the human armies. The Anakritis were at the head of that network. In many ways, they were the world's first Secret Police. Some techniques invented by them, such as coded communiques, extortion and methods of torture too numerous to mention, remain in use to this day.
