Historical Documentation:
As the Gorgon Horde's campaign against the Greek city states continued, it became obvious that the humans may not survive. The Gods themselves, fearing for their own safety, had no choice but to get involved. The queen of the Underworld, Persephone, formed her own army of the dead to battle the Gorgon Horde and protect the gates of her kingdom.

Created by taking a soul from the River Styx and binding it to any recently fallen warriors' remains left on the battlefields, these haunting figures' mightiest weapon was their overwhelming numbers. The binding of a soul to another's remains left them slow to respond to altering combat situations. This was more than made up with the terrifying psychological effect their eerie howls had on the living. Human and Gorgon alike cowered away from the sound of their screams.

Temporal Log:
It makes no scientific sense for a skeleton to be able to support itself, yet alone to fight. The very thought of it is insane...our minds cannot process the information that our eyes are seeing. And the howls...how can a creature without lungs or vocal cords create such a bone-chilling cacophony? When a skeleton of any variety appears, it takes every drop of courage to keep from running for your life.
