He said Ted had said to him "Nomar, I'm sorry I missed your party last night.". Apparently, Nomar had thrown an all star party the night before, and Ted had really wanted to attend. Nomar said that the fact that Ted saw him as a friend, not a fellow ballplayer, student, or whatever, meant the world to him.

The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. And it is considered as the large collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
