Historical Documentation:
Plucked from the Battle of Thermopylae a microsecond before he was destined to die at the hands of the Colubrida Guard, Leonidas was brought aboard the Vitruvian to add the one thing the crew was missing: a heavy hitter. Initially furious at being kidnapped and confused as to his whereabouts, the other crew members managed to impart the necessity of their work and the stakes involved. Despite having access to the latest in cutting edge tech, on arrival in the Fantasy era, he requested that appropriate armor be fabricated by the ship’s virtual interface; VI. This was accomplished, however numerous improvements were made over and above the standard Knight of Accord armor such as improved flexibility to allow for Leonidas’ fighting style, lighter weight through the usage of various alloys and a special coating originally invented to deflect coherent beam attacks but which also stops magical fireballs. Leonidas is at home in the twisted medieval timeline that has been brought about by the machinations of Stheno. His fighting skills are intact, his mind is as sharp as ever and he is eager to get the world set to rights so he can return to when he came from.

Temporal Log:
Leonidas and Lance Steelblade are like brothers. They took an immediate liking to each other because they have so much in common. Both had high command thrust upon them: both are natural leaders and both can outfight any opponent that crosses their path. Leonidas has taken it upon himself to train the Knights of Accord to Spartan standards of sword fighting and physical stamina. Lance Steelblade supports him in this endeavour, knowing that the time remaining before the final battle is short.

-<br />Headquartered in a castle situated on a nigh unapproachable outcrop, the Knights of Accord, even in their current weakened state, are the largest group of trained soldiers on the continent.  A generation ago, they were invincible, bringing peace and order to every point on the map.  Their downfall started during the chaotic events of twenty years ago, their last noble born leader died in mysterious circumstances along with a large number of the most senior knights.  The Knights remain an effective force, but until their numbers can be rebuilt and trained to the standards of a generation ago, they will not be the force for order they once were.  In an effort to return to their days of glory, they have opened their rolls to female recruits.  It is a break with tradition that doesn't sit well with many, but the dire situation merits a new way of thinking.  With their forces slowly becoming more numerous and experienced, the Knights of Accord are the best hope humanity has against the gathering darkness.

-<br />'Order' means different things to different people.  While the Knights fight to keep the peace, this often comes at the price of them ignoring larger concerns.  The Knights can only attempt to stop things getting worse rather than being a true force to change the world for the better.  Their current depleted state means they are overstretched with all the myriad dangers the world is experiencing.  Work is underway to improve matters, but it will be years before the improvements are seen unless some outside help is forthcoming.
