Staying in a youth hostel can be a wonderful experience for people of all ages, and it can also be a nightmare if you are not prepared. Many hostels do not offer private rooms or bathrooms, and you may have to sleep in a bunk bed. If you know what to expect from a hostel they can be a source of great savings.
