Once we saw the spotted flag of the Singh Pirates, we knew we could expect no mercy.

Operating throughout the seas of Asia since the 16th century, the Singh Brotherhood are perennial foes of the Phantom. Indeed, they are responsible for the creation of the fabled crime-fighter, having attacked the ship of the man who would become the first Phantom in the 1500s. Barely surviving his encounter with the pirates, the first Phantom swore an oath to destroy piracy, and in particular the Brotherhood. This oath has been passed down through twenty-one generations.

The scale of Singh operations is vast: spanning centuries and thousands of miles. Their island fortress of Gullique houses scores of ships and hundreds of fearsome warriors, blooded and battle ready. Whether armed with a cutlass, flintlock or dagger; they are implacable foes. As time has progressed, they have become a criminal enterprise equal of the Mafia or Yakuza, with tendrils extending into all aspects of crime, politics and legitimate business.
