Me?.. A gentleman?... Hmm... This is going to take a lot of work. - Alejandro Murrieta

Alejandro's life changed forever when, as a boy, he and his brother Joaquin aided the legendary Zorro in his fight against the corrupt Don Rafael Montero. The grateful hero gave the boys a gift; a silver medallion which Joaquin kept around his neck. Later in life, the brothers turned to crime, becoming bandits and conmen. They were pursued and eventually cornered by Captain Harrison Love, who killed Joaquin.

Alejandro escaped the trap and plotted his revenge. No match for Love, an aged Don Diego De la Vega stopped from throwing his life away uselessly. It was only after he recognized the medallion that he decided to train him.

Alejandro endured weeks of punishing tutelage in sword fighting, acrobatics, horsemanship and, most difficult of all, decorum, in order to take up the mask of Zorro and pass as a Don in Californian high society. He became a fierce fighter for justice and was able to put an end to the plans of Don Montero whilst avenging his brother in the process.
